1. When or if I started shipping them: Hmm, I honestly don’t know. I think I was sort of shipping it casually until like “To Shanshu in L.A.” when I started getting more invested? Or maybe it was as early as “Somnambulist.” Going back and rewatching, I ship it basically from the first time they meet on Buffy, but I can’t really pinpoint one exact moment when I originally started shipping it.
2. What I think their challenge is: Mostly Joss Whedon, for firing Charisma and killing off Cordy and grossly regressing Angel in “End of Days” and “Chosen” (temporarily as it might have been) and so on and so forth.
3. What makes me happy about them: The fact that Cordy is basically the only person who can make Angel smile and laugh (even as far back as season 2 of Buffy), and that they aren’t ~soulmates or ~destined to be together but that they still became best friends and fell in love in spite of everything stacked against them. *sob*
4. What makes me sad about them: The fact that they never actually got a chance to be together and the way that Cordelia’s character was handled in season 4.
5. What moment I wish had never happened: Ugh, so much of her season 4 character arc, but if I had to just pick one thing, it would definitely be Jasmine sleeping with Connor and Angel seeing them together. It was just so wrong on so many levels and such a violation of both Cordy and Connor.
6. Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: No one no way. #there are no people like us
7. My happily ever after for them: I kind of have no idea. Angel isn’t exactly the sort of show you get happy endings from. Maybe Cordy ~coming back somehow if Angel survived “Not Fade Away.”
